Greetings, True Believers.

I know I used exclamation marks, but can you blame me?  I mean, really, isn't this the sort of thing they are for?

"Love for Justice" print edition is available on Amazon.  A print book.  I held the proof copy in my hand.  Hand delivered by my publisher.  This is literally a dream come true.

Which brings me back to the purpose of this blog...

Don't quit.  Ever.

  1. Dear Mr. Stark,
I recently read your book Love for Justice. Once I had begun it, I could hardly put it down.
I think your practice of using short sentences-- and often one-word "sentences"-- lent a sense of immediacy to the action in fight (battle) scenes. That technique, when used to narrate characters' thoughts, authentically suggested the characters' ideas and emotions firing like nerve synapses through their brains.
I also like the fact that you included strong female roles as well as strong male roles in your story, e.g., Kate, Venus, and Pete's wife ____.
Finally, I feel that the surprise ending to your story was awesome: unexpected but fitting. Because the character of Venus had already been cast as heroic, capable, and confident, it was easy for me to "switch allegiance" to her at the end. ( I love hopeful if not happy endings). However, because Kate and Mitch were the emotionally unbalanced individuals who had attracted my attention throughout the earlier portion of the story, Venus managed to sneak right under my radar-- Boom!
Thank you so much for a great read! Good luck in all your future endeavors.
